I’ve added an archive page for the polls where they will be placed once they are no longer on the front page.

Don’t worry if you missed a poll! You will still be able to vote in previous polls after the results are tallied and it is taken off the front page. I’ve turned against my original decision to close the polls after they are taken off of the front page.

Just another way I’m trying to get the community more involved in Planet FunOrb. After this current poll, expect a poll asking what features you want added to this website.

For the next few days, some of you will be dazed and confused by this front page, I would just like to clarify a few things:

The website underwent a big database error, and had to be rolled back to the previous working date, the 24th. Unfortunately, about 20 comments could not be recovered. I have been working for the past 3 hours to get everything back, and some residual items are popping back into the website at random points, so we may see the comments come back with a little bit of time.

I’m going to keep this stickied for a week, then take it down. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the site being shut down for a few hours. Also, I’ve taken measures to make sure this never happens again.

The newest game on FunOrb, FunOrb Pool, has sparked yet another look into the future of the service with the introduction of a new category: Sport.

Right now, Pool is the only game in the category, but can we expect more physical sports to come of this? What sporting games would you like to see on Funorb? Leave your comments below.

I have a few things to talk about tonight,

First, you can expect a 2008 Funorb awards ceremony in December, which is only three months away. The entire awards will be in video (Don’t worry, I’m learning a better video editing program than Movie Maker) entirely, and will cover a broad range of categories, which will only grow with new features. The awards are split into two different groups: The best of the best, and the worst of the worst. What Jagex did great, and what they need to improve on.

As you are well aware thanks to the counter on the right hand side, Planet FunOrb has hit 40 thousand viewers today, since we started at the end of February. Here are some stats I hope you’ll enjoy:

To thank you all, I’ve set up a new Polldaddy polling system, where you’ll be able to see what the community thinks about different events. The first poll I’ve set up asks what you will be using your orb coins for.

I’ve been noticing on the FunOrb Forums that the feedback pertaining to the latest game, FunOrb Pool, is in regards to the rules of the game, and that they need fixing.

I would like to remind you all, mainly our American Orbers, that FunOrb Pool follows the UK rules, as Jagex is based in England. So even if you think you know all the rules to the game, your best bet is to go through the tutorial before you start throwing your pool cue around.
